Te Kiefte architecten from Borne wanted to do something special for their 25th jubilee. They invited five artists to do something with their office building. I created a temporary light installation for the dark winter months. Since the building is located next to a main road and a railway I wanted to give a little experience to every passerby. Every morning and every evening different colored “clouds” of lights move on the windows. Colors and color harmony change every morning and night. I hope people like it and enjoy the full saturated colors that contrast with the gray and dark winter.
Since sustainability is an important part in the work of the architects the installation uses led light and was switched only during peak hour in the morning and in the evening after sunset till 10 PM.
The installation received positive feedback from passers-by and the residents of an appartement building across the street.
